Fall is drawing near in Disney World, which means there are a TON of things going on.
EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is happening, we’ve been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a bunch of special treats are available, and more. Another thing taking place right now is Disney’s celebration for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month! There are a TON of foods available for the celebration, so come along with us as we check out a special burger over in Disney Springs!
We stopped by D-Luxe Burger for the return of the Tripleta Burger! We had it last year during this celebration, and we really enjoyed it, so we’re happy to see it return.
Like last year, the Tripleta Burger is made with a signature-blend patty, black forest ham, pork belly, Swiss cheese, fried potato sticks, lettuce, tomato, and mayo ketchup for $12.99. Note that the mayo ketchup is replacing the ketchup aïoli from last year.
This burger is huge and the flavors blended together nicely, especially when it came to the Swiss cheese bringing everything together. Also, picky eaters take note — we didn’t find any of the flavors super adventurous so it’s possible that this burger would work for you! It’s definitely one for the meat lovers out there.
We did find that the Tripleta Burger was a bit messy and difficult to eat because of its size, so you might want to grab a bib or at least a LOT of napkins! Honestly, the toppings to bun size ratio was off, and we think a bigger bun would have made it easier to eat. Note that the pork belly had a little too much fat to chew on for our taste, in case that’s a texture issue for you (but that could have just been our burger).
If you want to try out this burger for yourself, you can get it from now through October 15th. And, while you’re in Disney Springs, you could check out all of the new food items available for Halloween, including the Hocus Pocus DOLE WHIP FLIGHT!
