The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is one of the most popular events in Disney World, but did you know that you could experience something similar on property without even having to go to a theme park?!
Yep, we’re talking about the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic, hosted each year at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels. This event brings its own food booths with delicious eats and drinks. We’ve already seen the 2022 menus, but if you’re attending this year, we’ve got our picks for the things you MUST try!
The Food and Wine Classic takes place on Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th this year. On both days, the event runs from 5:30PM-9PM. Tickets are available now and event-only tickets to enjoy unlimited tastings on the Causeway are $165.00 per person, including tax. With your ticket, you can check out a variety of food and beverage options. So here’s the list of the ones we recommend trying!
Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin
Let’s start out this list with the Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, served with Organic Mushrooms, Pearl Onion, and Sauce Foyot. It comes from the menu at Shula’s Steak House and you can pick it up on both Friday and Saturday.
This item has been served up at the Food and Wine Classic for a few years now, and every year it has been a big hit with us! The meat is typically tender and flavorful, with perfectly paired sides. YUM!
Smoked Potato and Leek Filled Agnolotti
The Smoked Potato and Leek Filled Agnolotti, served with Pea Puree, Beet, and Savory Champagne Sabayon is a vegetarian pasta dish from Il Mulino. You can get this one on Friday only.
It’s brand new this year, but it has made its way on our list because we’re typically big fans of the house-made pasta options from Il Mulino. If it’s anything like the items we’ve tried in the past, it’ll be a winner!
Grilled Mahi Mahi
The Grilled Mahi Mahi is served with Tuscan Kale, Toasted Fregola Sarda, and Spanish Caper Sauce. It comes to the Food and Wine Classic from the menu at Amare, which is the new restaurant at the Swan Reserve hotel.
The Mahi Mahi debuted at last year’s event, and we were quite impressed. It was one of our favorite things that we tried, and it had a nice, thick piece of fish with plenty of flavor. Hopefully, it’s just as delicious this time around!
Crispy Buffalo Wings
Last year, we were big fans of the Crispy “Korean Style” BBQ Chicken Wings with Smokey Gochujang BBQ Sauce from Beer Garden. Sadly, those wings aren’t coming back this year, but in their place, we’ve got the Crispy Buffalo Wings.
We’ve got our fingers crossed that the buffalo wings live up to the hype of last year’s version. They’re served with hot sauce, celery sticks, and bleu cheese dressing.
Pan-Seared Vegan Dumpling
Last year, Chinatown had a Shanghai Dumpling, which was a Pan Roasted Pork Dumpling with Spicy Sauce, that we absolutely LOVED. Instead of that dumpling, the Chinatown area will serve a Pan Seared Vegan Dumpling.
This year’s item is served with a spicy sauce and is likely to be a good choice for those who eat vegan or vegetarian. It’s available on Friday and Saturday.
Banana Split Tart with Nitro Vanilla Ice Cream Station
One thing that sounds absolutely intriguing this year is the Banana Split Tart with Nitro Vanilla Ice Cream Station, available both days at the event! It’s a brand-new dessert option, and it’s one that has us particularly interested.
The menu announcement didn’t give much information on the ingredients or what we can expect, but you can bet we’ll be on the lookout for this treat!
Rosa Mexicano Eats
In 2023, a NEW restaurant is coming to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel — Rosa Mexicano. In honor of the occasion, the restaurant will be represented at the Food and Wine Classic with a few different items. If you want to get a taste of the new spot, we recommend trying out things like the Pork Carnitas de Cazuela or the Classic Guacamole En Molcajete.
They’re also serving up a Roasted Mushroom Taco and a Chopped Cheese Alambre Taco. All of these are available on both Friday and Saturday.
Carnival Corner Items
One of the favorite places to stop at the Food and Wine Classic is Carnival Corner, which serves up a variety of carnival-style eats each year. This year’s menu is no different, with three new options to choose from.
You can order the Vegetarian Macaroni & Cheese, the Cotton Candy, or the Grilled Sausage Sandwich with Peppers, Onions, and Italian Red Hot Peppers. Nothing quite like fair food!

Of course, we’ll be there in November when the event kicks off to try out all the yummy food, so stay tuned for thoughts, photos, reviews, and more. If you want to purchase tickets to attend yourself, they’re available now with multiple options depending on whether you’d like to stay at the resorts during the event.
