Have you ever visited Disney World’s water parks?
There are two, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Typhoon Lagoon, though, is currently closed for a refurbishment, but Blizzard Beach just reopened with a new Frozen-themed area. While we were checking it all out, though, we also found THREE new drinks!
First up of the new drinks at Blizzard Beach was the Wattamelon-Passionfruit Lemonade, found at Lottawatta Lodge. It’s made with Watermelon and Passion Fruit mixed with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade and garnished with a Green Sugar Rim. The non-alcoholic version is $6.75, but you can get it with Tito’s Handmade Vodka for $14.50.
This drink is SWEET. It doesn’t even need the added sugar on it. It’s just a bit too much. Some people love super sweet drinks, though, so that might be their jam!
Our experiences with the other new drinks, though, were a lot different. The Red Slope Bloody Mary for $14 is made with Cutwater Bloody Mary with a Chili-Lime Rim, topped with Lime, and Seasonal Garnishes. You can find it at Frostbite Freddy’s.
This might just be one of the best Bloody Mary drinks we’ve had — at least from a counter-service restaurant in Disney World. We also LOVED these toppings!
We were also really surprised by the Melt-A-Way Margarita for $15.50 at Polar Pub. It’s made with Herradura Reposada Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, and Habanero Lime with a Chili-Lime Rim and a Lime Wedge garnish. Again, this is one of the best margaritas we might’ve had from a counter-service spot in Disney World.
We also loved that this wasn’t a sweet-sour margarita mix. Also, this baby was STRONG, but in all the right ways. We loved tasting the chili-lime rim right before each sip, too.
