Listen, the amount of holiday sweets we’ve eaten as a company in the past few weeks is enough to keep half the dentists in America in business…
…but we’re not stopping now! We’ve tried sweets all around the Disney World parks and resorts as Christmas, Hanukkah, and Thanksgiving treats arrived, and now it’s time to hit up ANOTHER gingerbread display to see what they’ve got in store. Ho ho ho, let’s go!
We’re heading to the BoardWalk Inn to check out the NEW gingerbread display that just arrived in the lobby there! This year, it’s a replica of the new restaurant, BoardWalk Deli. How cute! (It has been a replica of BoardWalk Bakery in the past, but that restaurant was closed earlier this year.)
The impressive structure has a large window, the iconic white and red striped awnings, and even a sign that matches the restaurant. There are so many details!
The front of the gingerbread model has tiny trees, wreaths, tables, and chairs. The trees have their own miniature ornaments!
Inside the window, we spotted two of our favorite pals — Minnie…
…and Chef Mickey! They’re baking some delicious treats for all the customers.
The little kitchen is complete with some BoardWalk Deli menu items and teeny tiny appliances. We know we already said it, but this thing is SO detailed!
Just look at it!

And if you’re visiting, you’ll find this sign with all the facts and figures of the gingerbread house. It took 21 gallons of honey and 128 eggs to make this whole display, and a whopping 200 hours of decorating. If you look around, you’ll find 26 different hidden Mickeys throughout.
But that’s not all! There are sweets and souvenirs to shop for at this gingerbread stop, including the Boardwalk Gingerbread Display Ornament for $19.99.
For pin collectors, the matching BoardWalk Gingerbread Display Pin is also $19.99.
Then, of course, we’ve got a whole hoard of treats! First are the sugar cookies, which come in Mickey Mouse…
…or Minnie Mouse forms! Get them for $6.99 each.
There’s also a Popcorn Bucket Sugar Cookie for $6.49.
The Holiday Carnival Bark comes packaged in individual bags for $7.99.
What’s better than ordering gingerbread at a gingerbread display? Get this Giant Gingerbread Mickey for $11.99.
They’re also selling bags of Peppermint Marshmallows for $6.49. How festive! That’ll take your hot chocolate up a notch.
And last but not least, we’ve got the Plant-based Gluten Friendly Gingerbread Cookie! It’s the cheapest of the bunch at $4.79.
We tested this one out and were REALLY impressed! The thicker parts of the cookie had the authentic mouth feel of a regular gingerbread cookie, and the ginger flavor was thorough throughout. The icing was the perfect, sweet addition. Props to the bakers for making a top-notch allergy-friendly treat!

For those who would like something to drink during their visit, they’re also selling the Gingerbread Frost, which is made with WODKA Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, and Kahlua Liqueur, topped with whipped cream and a gingerbread cookie. Get it for $14.
So there you have it — that’s everything happening at the BoardWalk Inn Gingerbread Display! This year’s display is seriously impressive and we recommend stopping by to check it out if you’re staying nearby or planning to visit some of the Disney World resorts. It’s a real treat!
