We get it — so many of us Disney fans don’t live near Florida or California to visit the parks as often as we like. So we have to get our Disney fix in other ways.
Maybe that’s non-stop binging EVERYTHING on Disney+. Maybe it’s playing our favorite Disney playlists over and over. Maybe it’s just watching videos about Disney (*cough* DisneyFoodBlog YouTube videos) on repeat. But if you live around Texas, you might not be aware of a Disney experience in your own backyard!
Disney’s Mickey & Friends: An Extra Big Adventure is coming to CAMP Dallas in Dallas, Texas. With help from CAMP Counselors, guests will get to play through an “immersive world filled with absolutely humongous fun, celebrating Disney’s Mickey Mouse & Friends!”
Activities include a play experience where you’ve been shrunk down to the size of a crayon and you need to help Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy get things back to normal in time for Mickey’s birthday party. That will include sliding down the ribbon of a gigantic birthday present, mixing a song on a huge turntable, throwing enormous popcorn kernels, and more! There’s even a dance party.
Although the experience promises fun for the whole family, it is specifically targeted at kids ages two to eight. Tickets will get you a 40-minute experience and can be purchased from the CAMP website. You’ll book a specific time for the experience, which is what your ticket will be for. Tickets are $20 to $22 per person depending on what day you book.
So that’s one thing you can do to bring some extra Disney into your life. You’ll also see some 100th anniversary things popping up all over the U.S. soon, too, including an immersive animation experience. Be sure to keep an eye on DFB because we’ll be sure to tell you about these things in advance!
