NEW Miley Cyrus Music Special Announced for Disney+

Get ready to mark down an important Disney+ date!

Season 3 of The Mandalorian is already out, and we’ve got a full list of what’s coming to Disney+ in March, but now we’ve got some exciting news for those who are fans of a certain Disney celebrity that used to sing to us all about getting the best of both worlds…

Her days as Hannah Montana may be long gone but now Miley Cyrus is coming to Disney+ for something NEW — an original special event called “Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions).” Cyrus is actually an executive producer of this special and it’ll showcase NEW songs from her “Endless Summer Vacation” album, including the oh-so-popular “Flowers.”

The special will premiere on Friday, March 10th at 1PM EST/10AM PST.

So what is this exactly? Well, Disney describes it as a “music event.” For the first time ever, Cyrus will perform songs from her “Endless Summer Vacation” album, including “Flowers” and 7 others from that album. She’ll also perform one of her classic hits and there will be a special performance with Rufus Wainwright.

But there will be more than performances! In between performances, there will be exclusive interviews in the house where Cyrus shot the music video for “Flowers.” According to Disney, she’ll provide “insight into her new album and the person she is today.”

The idea of the “Backyard Sessions” comes from a Backyard Sessions series Cyrus started back in 2012 for her fans. This serves as a continuation of that!
