A TRON Lightcycle / Run Pop-Up Shop Is Now Open in Disney World

TRON Lightcycle / Run is currently having a soft opening, but it’s official opening date is on April 4th.

But that’s not the only NEW TRON thing coming to Magic Kingdom. First, a new snack kiosk has opened with some very interesting treats. We previously told you about a new pop-up shop coming to Tomorrowland, too, and here’s your reminder that it opens TOMORROW.

The shop will carry TRON Lightcycle / Run and TRON movie-themed collections. The shop will be located directly across from the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor entrance in Tomorrowland (our best guess so far is that it might be where Stitch’s Great Escape used to be).

You’ll be able to find three merchandise collections, including the Back to the Arcade Collection, the Thrill of the Race collection, and a “third merchandise collection inspired by the clean design language of this digital world.”

That won’t be the only location with TRON souvenirs, though. Visitors to the grid will soon be able to take part in the Tron Identity Program, where they can build a customizable “program” action figure and identity chip. The identity chip can be used to interact with other TRON merchandise, like the Identity Discs and Remote Control Lightcycles.

This experience will be inside Tomorrowland Launch Depot, but you’ll need to make a reservation for it online first. Reservations are available now.

We’ll be checking out the pop-up shop as it opens, and we’ll be in Magic Kingdom on TRON Lightcycle / Run’s official opening day, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
