McDonald’s fans, listen up! There’s a new collection dropping soon that you’ll want to see.
We’re loving it.
McDonald’s has been busy lately. If you missed it, McDonald’s has new Happy Meal toys for Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 (the movie premieres in theaters May 5th). They also made a BIG sauce announcement, when they revealed that Big Mac sauce is NOW available in a dipping cup. Now, there is a new way to celebrate McDonald’s.
Funko announced on Instagram that they will be releasing some new Pop! characters as a part of their heritage collection. They have created Pop! Ronald McDonald and Pop! Hamburglar figures.
You can see Ronald McDonald celebrating with his birthday hat and present. The Hamburglar is sporting his classic outfit. Both will be sold online at the Funko Pop! website, but there’s no news yet about when they’ll be available.

McDonald’s has been an American staple since it began, so as Funko is celebrating its past, McDonald’s is looking toward the future. Recently, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said the brand has no intention of slowing down when it comes to innovation. Kempczinski said that the company would soon begin piloting automated order-taking through voice recognition and that when it comes to AI, McDonald’s is “learning just like everybody else.”
