With SO many food choices in EPCOT, it can be hard to figure out where to stop for lunch.
The World Showcase is full of restaurants with globally-inspired cuisine, and with the park’s major transformation, we’ve even got new dining locations to enjoy. If there is a festival going on (and there often is), there are even more choices to decide between. So, we hit up every place we can to bring you reviews to make your decision process a little easier. Today, let’s take a look at one of the quick service options in the France pavilion: Crêpes À Emporter.
Atmosphere
You’ll find Crêpes à Emporter in the France pavilion, in the newer area by Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
It’s right next to La Crêperie de Paris. Actually, Crêpes à Emporter is the quick service window to the restaurant, and translates to “Crepes to Go”!
This location serves as a walk-up window, so there’s not much in the way of atmosphere, but the building is nicely decorated to fit the area’s theme nonetheless. Keep in mind that because this is a quick service window, there are no dedicated tables or air conditioning here — but there are a few tables dispersed throughout the pavilion. You’ll find a few by the water…
…as well as a few near the entrance to this area.
It can get very hot in the summer, and there is not a lot of shade. But, this spot is where you go to get, well, crepes to go, so it’s convenient! If you’d prefer a sit-down experience with air conditioning, you could try to snag a spot at La Crêperie de Paris.
Let’s get into the menu!
Menu
The Menu at this walk-up window is short but sweet. You’ll find savory Galettes, like the Cream of Brie Cheese Galette and the Bechamel Cheese & Ham Galette, as sweet crêpes, like the Butter and Sugar Crêpe and the Red Berries Crêpe. There’s a selection of ice cream, and crêpes that are topped with ice cream as well!
You’ll also find a few hard ciders, wines, and other drinks here.
Let’s eat!
Eats
I decided to get something sweet and something savory: the Ratatouille Galette and the Housemade Hazelnut & Chocolate Spread Crêpe.
Starting with the savory option, the Ratatouille Galette was $10.25 and was made with Tomatoes, Zucchini, and Eggplant.
Overall, I thought the flavors of this dish were nice. The vegetables were fresh and seasoned with the perfect amount of salt. The crêpe itself was eggy and light. However, I thought that it was overcooked a bit.
However, the filling was great! The tomatoes were bright and tangy and well-balanced with the zucchini and eggplant.
As a whole, even though I enjoyed the freshness of the veggies, I probably wouldn’t get this again. For $10.25 it’s a bit pricey to not have any meat, and the overcooked crêpe was a bit of a bummer.
Next up, I tried the Housemade Hazelnut & Chocolate Spread Crêpe for $8.95.
This is just like it sounds: a Crêpe topped with Hazelnut and Chocolate Spread! I loved this one. Unlike the Galette, the crêpe was cooked perfectly. It was eggy, soft, and delicate, and the sauce was SO good.
This was chocolatey with a touch of nuttiness and light enough that it didn’t feel too heavy in the Florida heat. As a fruit lover, I would have loved some berries on this, but on its own, it was simple and delicious.
For $8.95 this is a little pricey, but I thought it was worth it and would get it again.
Nosh or Not
Head to this quick-service window if…
- You miss the Crêpes des Chefs de France kiosk. If you have your heart set on a sweet or savory crêpe, this is the place to get one!
- You love food with simple ingredients. The food at this spot is not complicated. Each item highlights a few ingredients to be the star of the show.
- You want a quick bite to eat. As a walk-up window, this spot offers some of the most convenient options in the area!
Skip Crêpes à Emporter if…
- You need a break from the Florida heat. Since this is a walk-up window, there isn’t any air conditioning. If you’d like this style of food but need a break from the sun, check out La Crêperie de Paris.
- You want a slower-paced sit-down meal. There are tons of dining options in EPCOT if you’re looking for a fancy restaurant experience.
- You don’t love crêpes. This spot has a very limited menu, so if crêpes aren’t your thing, this isn’t the food for you!
Overall
As a whole, this spot had some great elements. We love the decor and the convenience of this location, and our sweet crêpe was delicious!
Unfortunately, the savory galette wasn’t our favorite and the location isn’t ideal if you need an air-conditioned break from the sun. We have enjoyed the galettes in the past, however, so this could be a great spot for you if you’re looking for something quick and easy!

R McD says
Was just there last week and saw about 30 people in line for crepes (around midday)…. but walked right up 3 days later at a different time of day (early entry). Totally depends on time of day, but yes, it does sometimes have a significant line.
Also, if you hit it for breakfast, avoid the coffee.
Carole says
As someone who grew up with crepes and French food in general, crepes are not a standup food, you need to sit to savour. Not enough of tables and places to eat outside so would rather do without.
Sandra G says
Carole, I too would rather sit down to eat, especially if I am going to enjoy the traditional glass of cider with my ham and cheese crepe. However, I recently saw a food program showing people walking up to a French street stand and ordering a crepe, which was folded in paper to be eaten will walking. It seems there are indeed window or cart crepe stands in France, so this fits, even though they are probably better enjoyed seated in A/C. Bon appetit!
