Disney Cruise Line just continues to expand its fleet.
In 2022, the Disney Wish began setting sail (and we even had a chance to check it out). In 2024, the Disney Treasure will be taking its maiden voyage. But Disney isn’t stopping there: the company just announced the name of yet ANOTHER new ship that will be added to its fleet.
We’re at Destination D23 today, where Disney has already made a ton of announcements about new additions to Disneyland, Disney World, and more.
During a presentation, Disney Cruise Line mentioned that it had THREE more new ships in the works, but one ship will be the first to sail from Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia.
Disney also announced the name of this ship, which will be the 7th in its fleet: the Disney Adventure. Its home port will be in Singapore, and it will feature Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories on board. Disney called it the “biggest adventure yet.”
So now we have a name but no further details about the ship. We’re sure Disney will set up a huge reveal like it did for the Disney Treasure, though, so we’ll keep an eye out for that.
We’ll be covering all the big announcements from Destination D23, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney World to attend the Destination D23 event.
