When choosing a hotel for your Disney World vacation, it’s important to stay up to date on the resort schedules to avoid any disappointments.
All-Star Movies
Throughout the year, Disney regularly closes certain amenities across its line of hotels for maintenance and sometimes renovations. Sometimes, that means a small closure that might not affect your stay. But occasionally, those scheduled closures can have a big impact on whether or not you want to stay there — like a major construction project in the lobby or the renovation of its signature pool. If you have plans to stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies resort on an upcoming vacation, you’re going to want to see the changes they have in store for its scheduled pool closure!
Previously, Disney shared that the Fantasia Pool would be closing from January 2024 through April 2024 for regularly scheduled maintenance.

Now, according to Disney’s website, the Fantasia Pool closure timeline has changed! The plan is now for it to close from January 2025 through April 2025. During the closure, guests are welcome to swim in the Duck Pond Pool instead, but keep in mind that you may see and hear construction work during daytime hours.
