Disney just shared a first look at a NEW show that’s inspired by a fan-favorite parade.
The Main Street Electrical Parade was the inspiration behind one scene in the new show, which debuts next January. If you want to see this show, however, you might have to book a plane ticket!
The Disney Symphony of Colors is a new nighttime show that’s coming to Disneyland Paris on January 8th, 2024. This show was announced earlier this year, with details about some characters that will be included.
Disney is calling the Symphony of Colors “an electric parade in the sky.” In a recent tweet, they shared that there will be “a drone sequence inspired by the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade!” Here’s a first look at that scene:
The Main Street Electrical Parade is no longer running in Disney World. It had a brief “encore” at Disneyland recently, though that run ended in September 2022. Disney hasn’t announced any plans for the parade to return in the future, but it has come and gone multiple times in the past, so it’s possible that it’ll return once again!
The Disney Symphony of Colors: A Burst of Highly Colorful New Experiences is meant to add new color and beauty to Disneyland Park in Paris. There will be two shows, one of which will happen at night and include characters like Mickey, Minnie, Timon, Joy, and Mirabel. The second show begins in February and will be a daytime show “bursting with beloved songs and stories starring Disney and Pixar Characters.”
Tinker Bell will “wake up winter” with “a sprinkling of dazzling new decorations, transforming Main Street, U.S.A., into a whirlwind of colours and lights,” starting in February.
The nighttime show starting in January will last through the end of September 2024, and the Pixar show starting in February will last through April 2024.
We’ll continue to watch for more updates from Disney, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latst news!
