Disney Threw an EXCLUSIVE 23-Hour Party for the 100th Anniversary!

Did you know about this EXCLUSIVE party that happened at Disneyland for The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary?

It took place for almost a full 24 hours, too! Let’s check it out.

Disney announced that a 23-hour Cast Member party took place at Disneyland on October 16th to celebrate the big anniversary. The party lasted 23 hours to honor Disney’s founding in 1923!

Backstage, Cast Members participated in lots of different kinds of activities, like Disney100-exclusive screenings, “speed puzzling,” and dunk tanks where Cast Members could dunk their leaders. Disneyland pledged to donate $5 to Make-A-Wish for every person successfully dropped in those dunk tanks (up to $5,000).

Horticulture Cast Member Larry said about the party, “It makes you feel like you’re included. It’s being able to be part of the bigger scope than our everyday work. For the company to host something and give back to the Cast Members, it’s really important.”
