LOTS of flight delays have hit the Orlando International Airport.
We saw many delays and cancelations a couple of weekends ago, and now it looks like certain airlines are experiencing problems again. Let’s take a look at the delays from today.
According to FlightAware, the Orlando International Airport experienced 65 flight delays today, October 31st.
UPDATE: Since publishing this post, even more flights have been delayed, with the total at 72 now.
Southwest and JetBlue had the most delays (with 15 and 13, respectively), but American Airlines, Delta, Spirit, and Frontier all had several delays as well.
If you’re traveling to Disney World and your flight is canceled or delayed, what do you do? Well, there’s a handy dandy tool online that can help you figure out if you will get compensated for your delay or cancellation.
On the U.S. Department of Transportation website, you’ll find the Airline Customer Service Dashboard. This is an easy way to see what your airline’s commitments are when your flight doesn’t go as planned due to something the airline did. This does not include delays or cancelations caused by weather. You can check out the chart to see what you may be entitled to if you experience a delay.
