Have You Seen These Warnings On The Disney World Website?

Let’s talk about what the REAL magic is.

The REAL magic (other than the lovely Cast Members in the Disney Parks) comes from the Disney World App and website. (Well, when it’s WORKING but that’s a topic for another time.) Seriously, it really IS like your own personal Genie, and we feel that a lot of Disney fans don’t use their app or the website nearly enough. Everything you need to know is located online, from reservation information, to showtimes, to wait times. However, there’s also something EXTRA helpful located on the website and app that a lot of people look right past: WARNINGS.

Yep, on the Disney World website, you’ll find lots of information and warnings pertaining to closures, construction, and more.

Magic Kingdom

For example, you can visit the webpage for your Disney World hotel and see if there are any closures or construction that might affect your stay. This includes pool and restaurant closures, too!

The website will tell you if there is anything that could affect your stay

The website will also provide information on road closures, like if they’re blocked off for a race!

Disney Road Closure

To find this information, simply search the name of your hotel on the app or website! On the main page, there will be a highlighted area that will show that there is some sort of announcement regarding the closure or construction. If roads are closed, the announcement will sometimes come up as a push notification on the app.
