Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Disney says that this closure is for “regularly scheduled maintenance.”
We’ve seen several popular rides close for maintenance recently, including Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Kali River Rapids in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Both of those closures, however, are planned to last multiple months, so Big Thunder got off easy compared to those two.

And don’t forget that the Disney Skyliner‘s closure for maintenance also starts tomorrow, January 16th. You can learn more about that closure here.
