It’s almost time!

Welcome to the Pixar Place Hotel!
It may feel like it’s been forever since work first began to transform Paradise Pier Hotel into the all-new Pixar Place Hotel and now that day has almost come. Starting tomorrow, we’ll be able to walk through the doors of this beautiful hotel and experience all of the latest updates, artwork, and more.
Late last year, Disney shared new details about the opening timeline for this reimagined hotel, and we got a peek into the updated feel that aimed to “weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting.”

New glass character decor
The new stylized atmosphere and decor took aim to help its visitors get “a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters.” A lot of the features that will be visible throughout the entire hotel will be placed strategically around to highlight the creative journey of the artists who bring the beloved Pixar stories to life. We’ve already seen this come to life in the recently opened lobby for the hotel!

Finding Nemo mural in Pixar Place Lobby
You’ll want to look everywhere in this hotel (high and low) because you never know what you’ll spot next! Extensive care was taken with consideration into every updated detail to help you feel like you’ve stepped into a modern Pixar art gallery.

Lobby Check-In Desks
Even the rooms look like you’ve stepped into an animation storyboard with lots of familiar Pixar pals! Did you spot the Luxo ball detail in the decorative pillow on each bed?

Pixar Place Hotel Room
The pool area is nice and open and even features a sleek design perfect for catching a few rays of sunshine. Is that Crush the Turtle on top of the water slide, we see? That makes total sense to us!

If you haven’t already made your reservations here for your next Disneyland visit, we think this one will really be a hit! We love the fun theming and sophisticated look. We’re really excited to see how well this updated look of the hotel is received by everyone! Be sure you’re following us at Disney Food Blog for the latest in changes and more!
