If you’re anything like us, then there’s a good chance that you often can’t resist the call of the McDonald’s drive-thru.

Yes, we write about Mickey D’s news almost as much as we write about Disney World. Yes, we really do get excited when there are new menu items and nostalgic new Happy Meal Toys. Sometimes, though, we get sad about McDonald’s news, because of course — the international locations get all the cool stuff. This is the case today, unfortunately. A never-before-seen McDonald’s sandwich is coming SOON to the United Kingdom. Let’s talk about it!

The McDonald’s McSpicy is an all-new sandwich coming to UK locations on February 7th. It’ll only be around for 6 weeks, though, so you’ll have to grab it FAST.

Cosmopolitan reported that the sandwich is a collaboration between the iconic fast food chain and Frank’s RedHot hot sauce. It’s a hot and spicy chicken breast fillet with a crispy coating of jalapeños. It’ll also feature a never-before-seen-in-the-UK Frank’s RedHot Mayo. All of this is snug as a bug in a rug between two sesame buns.

According to Thomas O’Neil, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, that demographic has an “obsession with spice.” This collaboration only made sense!

While we’re a teensy bit jealous that we can’t get the McSpicy here in the United States, it’s probably a good thing. It doesn’t seem that this sandwich will be too gentle on the stomach with all that SPICE.
