We’ve been watching the construction progress at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on BOTH coasts!
Isn’t she lovely?
And one thing we know is that Disney World’s ride construction is way head of the progress over at Disneyland, which only makes sense because Disney World closed Splash Mountain and started the transformation months before Disneyland did.

We just got an update on when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in Disney World, and now we know more about the Disneyland opening, too!
Disney just announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening EARLIER than expected in Disney World — this summer, in fact!
But Disneyland folks, don’t worry! Disney has also confirmed that the West Coast version of the ride will open “later in 2024.” So we’ll all be able to be transported to New Orleans with Tiana, Naveen, Louis, and the gang in 2024 — no matter which U.S. park you visit!

In case you haven’t heard much about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure yet, we’ll give you the quick rundown here. This ride is themed to Disney’s The Princess and the Frog movie, and is replacing Splash Mountain in both Frontierland in Magic Kingdom and Critter Country in Disneyland. The ride’s premise will pick up after the final kiss of the movie, with riders joining “Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.”
