Disney announced recently that the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in Disney World will FINALLY be reopening on March 17th, 2024.

With that water park reopening, several snack stands and a couple of restaurants will be reopening right along with it. It looks like that means some new menu items, because we just spotted a couple of updates to two popular snack spots in this park!
The water parks in Disney World sort of take turns opening and closing. Typhoon Lagoon has been closed for several months, and Blizzard Beach has been open. When Typhoon Lagoon reopens on March 17th, Blizzard Beach will close once again.

Disney typically uses that closure time for updates and refurbishments in the water parks, and part of those updates are menu refreshes for the food spots inside. We noticed a couple of menu changes at Typhoon Tilly’s and Leaning Palms!

Typhoon Tilly’s
At Typhoon Tilly’s, Disney has added three new entrées to the Lunch and Dinner menu: a Shrimp Boil, a Fried Fish Platter, and a Shrimp Louie Salad!

We’ve previously seen a Shrimp Louie Lettuce Wrap here, and there’s been a Battered Fish Basket on the menu for a long time, so these menu updates aren’t a far cry from the typical eats we’ve tried at Tilly’s.

Shrimp Wrecked Salad
Over at Leaning Palms, Disney added a Cuban Flatbread Pizza and a Pulled Pork Sandwich to the Lunch menu.

This spot previously had a Cuban Burger, but soon you’ll be able to get those flavors in pizza form.

Leaning Palms
We’re excited to try these new items when Typhoon Lagoon reopens! And speaking of tasty eats at Typhoon Lagoon…we’re keeping our fingers crossed that our favorite Hei Hei DOLE Whip Cone returns to Snack Shack in mid-March!

It’s Hei Hei!
