Disney World means long days and tired feet, and for coffee drinkers, that morning coffee is a super important way to start the day on vacation!
We recently tested a new coffee hack that not only changed our lives, but will probably change yours as well!
Long days are a part of the Disney World experience. If you plan on going from rope drop to close you are going to need fuel to power through the day. There are a lot of places to grab coffee from in the parks and at the resorts. But if you need that first sip of iced coffee to hit your soul as soon as you open your eyes in the morning, we’ve got a super suggestion for you!
Disney World has a lot of great iced coffees — you can grab your favorite iced Starbucks drink at locations in any of the Disney World Parks or at Disney Springs, try the Shakin’ Jamaican or other iced drinks at Joffrey’s kiosks around Disney World, or get an iced cold brew at Gideon’s Bakehouse or Everglazed.
The key to having great iced coffee in your hotel room in the morning is to pick one up the night before! That’s right! Go to Starbucks or Joffrey’s on your way out of the parks — or stop by a coffee location at Disney Springs after dinner. Order that iced coffee you love, but get it with NO ICE. This way you can refrigerate in your hotel room and have it to wake you up in the morning!
Now, one caveat for this hack: You may get a cup that’s not quite full, or you may be charged a little extra since you ordered without ice. You ARE getting more coffee without the ice in the cup, so this is totally understandable, but we want you to be prepared for this!
Oh and one more thing! Don’t forget you’re saving that cold brew and mindlessly sip on it! You don’t want an 8PM coffee to keep you up half the night. You’ve got important rope dropping plans in the morning!
We hope this hack can help you out on your next trip to Disney World!
