If you’re like us, there’s nothing like a cup of coffee to fuel up for a long day in the Disney parks! There are several options for coffee around the parks, including Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company and, of course, Starbucks. And for those truly dedicated to the coffee game, next week is your chance to kick off your day right with a FREE cup of coffee!
It’s officially pumpkin spice season, aka one of the best times of the year.

So as we’re getting into our autumn feels with a Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks decided to release a new fall drink in honor of another fall staple – apples! We got to try it today in Disney World so read on to find out if this new drink could be crowned the winner of fall drinks (if that’s a thing).

It’s a hot afternoon in the Magic Kingdom. Ice cream is calling your name, but you’re also in need of a little caffeine jolt. Well, I’ve got just the treat for you… today we’re checking out the Iced Coffee Float at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies!

Not familiar with Auntie? It’s OK — lots of people just walk right by on their way from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland.
You can find this spot in Tomorrowland across from the Tomorrowland Speedway. The menu features – as the outdoor sign indicates – smoothies and ice cream. You can read our review of both a smoothie AND an ice cream sundae here!

It’s also an easy place to grab a piece fruit or a muffin before your race to Space Mountain in the morning.
The Iced Coffee Float has been on my “To Try” list for a while, but I must confess to rarely stopping at Auntie’s, typically in favor of visiting Sonny Eclipse at Cosmic Rays’s or grabbing a Gourmet Cake Cup at Cheshire Café. But one day I was particularly in need of a caffeine boost, so I strolled in to Galactic Goodies to place my order.

You’ve got two choices to make upon ordering your Iced Coffee Float. First, the Iced Coffee: French Vanilla, Mocha, or Latte (the Latte, while still being “lightly sweetened,” is the least sweet of the bunch). Second, the ice cream: Vanilla, Chocolate, or Twist soft serve.

We’re back with another fun review from the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
The festival has already been going strong for over a week, and we have lots of favorites to bring you — some returning, and some brand new!
I know you are just as excited to Eat AND Drink Your Way Around the World at the festival’s Marketplace Booths as we are here at Disney Food Blog!
Today, we’re heading to two of my favorite stops on the journey around World Showcase — Hawai’i and Ireland!
Introduced only a couple of years ago, Hawai’i has quickly become a fan favorite with hearty dishes and fun drinks.

Fans of the Hawai’i booth are happy to see that two food favorites have returned in 2013! There are also some great beverage choices here.
Kona Brewing Company beers Big Wave Golden Ale and Pipeline Porter are returning. But last year’s Chardonnay is replaced by a Gewurztraminer in the wine category (YUM!). Cocktail lovers can enjoy a brand new vodka-based option!

I was very excited to sample the Kālua Pork Slider once again! During a recent chat with Epcot chefs, I learned that the pulled pork used in this dish is slow-cooked on the premises. This is the real deal! (If you’d like to make it at home, check out this fun recipe.)

Although the Tuna Poke with Seaweed Salad and Lotus Root Chips isn’t my personal favorite, lots of guests think this is tops for fresh flavor — and it’s a great representation of an authentically Hawai’ian dish.

Today, we’re stopping by Isle of Java at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a quick caffeine jolt!
You’ll find this little kiosk once you meander through the Discovery Island Oasis exhibits in the middle of the park. It’s stationed just outside of Disney Outfitters.

A peek at the menu here actually turns up some really interesting options! You can, for instance, have an Island Cappuccino, which features white chocolate — and Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum! Note to self: remember this. 🙂
But the real news here are some of the pastry options on the menu — especially the Cotton Top Tamarin Cupcake!

It’s time to take an ice cream break! And I know just the place — Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
This cool spot offers up soft serve for guests who are looking for a little refreshment between attractions…but they have some other fun menu items too! Time to check it out.
Auntie Gravity’s is located in that thoroughfare that meshes Fantasyland into Tomorrowland. You’ll find this little spot directly across from the Tomorrowland Speedway.
The signage with the name of the location hangs on the wall of the building — viewable only from the Fantasyland side.

So if you’re searching for Auntie Gravity’s and coming from Tomorrowland, keep a look out for the ginormous “Ice Cream and Smoothies” sign that hangs overtop both doors leading into the shop.
There’s not a lot of atmosphere to speak of in the small space! There’s just enough room for a few counter-service stands and a walk-up window to get your goodies.

Once you get your eats, you’ll head back outside to a group of tables just beyond the doorway. Keep on the look-out for PUSH, the talking trash can in this area! (You can also take advantage of indoor seating at Cosmic Rays, which is just next door.)
Auntie Gravity’s is purely a snack stop, so it’s great for a midday treat or after meal dessert most of the time. But one of the more unique options you’ll find here is the Iced Coffee Float, a fan favorite. I’ve only seen these at a few other locations, like Sunshine Tree Terrace.
