When it comes to celebrations, is there anywhere better to party it up than in Disney World?
Disney is no stranger to big parties. We spent 18 months celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. We also recently celebrated The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary. We also like celebrating our own important milestones in Disney World, like anniversaries and birthdays. Well, one woman did just that, and wait until you hear about her!
According to Fox 35, Frances Belko recently visited Disney World for her 101st birthday. We can’t imagine a better way to celebrate, especially since both The Walt Disney Company and Belko were both born in 1923. She is our Disney Adult #goals. Belko said, “Everything is good in Disney,” adding, “You walk around, you see everything, and you have that nice parade.”
Belko was accompanied on her trip by her granddaughter, Kelly DeSalvo, and their family. They even themed their day to 101 Dalmations — you know, because Beklo turned 101. SO clever! Belko even got to spend some time with Mickey. Yes, we’re still going to want Mickey hugs when we’re 101, too.
Belko also let us all in on her secret to living such a long happy life. She mentioned exercise and “just keep on going from day to day and make the best of everything.” But she also lives for Diet Coke, chocolate (especially Hershey’s Kisses), and ice cream. A woman after our own heart! ❤️❤️❤️ It looks like Belko also did some celebratory eating at Chef Mickey’s for her big day.
Belko is already planning her NEXT birthday at Disney World, too. She’s even got the theme: “Celebrating 102 with Winnie the Pooh.” THAT is how you do it, folks.
