The most IMPORTANT part of EPCOT’s transformation is here.
Over the last several years, EPCOT has — for better or worse — gone through a metamorphosis. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana have been added to the park’s attraction lineup, and the entirety of what used to be Future World has been radically redesigned. This past week, the final piece of EPCOT’s reinvention — CommuniCore Hall and Plaza — opened, and we’ve got a tour of the best part…
The BRAND-NEW CommuniCore Hall BATHROOMS
Okay, so in truth there are certainly better parts of the new EPCOT, but you know how SERIOUSLY we take Disney World bathrooms, so a new one in a busy section of the resort does make us a bit giddy.
As you can see, the new CommuniCore Hall bathrooms have a striking orange color scheme. Even the trough sinks are orange!
We absolutely love this mirror design as well. It captures the classic EPCOT aesthetic as far as we’re concerned.
Interestingly, the children’s changing area features a slightly different color scheme with beiges and faux wood paneling.
Outside the entrance to the new restrooms, Disney has also installed a new water bottle refilling station.
Disney describes CommuniCore Hall overall as being designed to “celebrate the architectural legacy of EPCOT, CommuniCore Hall features a façade of geodesic triangles, expressed in innovative materials and configurations—bringing energy and dynamism to the entire area throughout the day and into the night.”
The CommuniCore Hall bathrooms, in all of their orange glory, are now open along with the entire festival area including the new Mickey and Friends meet-and-greet, quick-service Festival Favorites stand, and Encanto stage show. Stay tuned to DFB for more coverage of Walt Disney World… and its bathrooms.

Where are the pictures of the men’s bathroom? A lot of men’s rooms do not have enough stalls.
Chris Regier says
The problem on the communicore bathrooms is the lever style door handle that has to be used to open the door. That is wrong and has to go.

Really interested in what the companion bathroom looks like? Rumor has it there is a large space to assist with special needs?

Isn’t the design of the sink called “trough”?

And still no changing tables for older children or adults with disabilities!!!!!!!!
This is inexcusable

New bathroom looks very nice. You never can have too many bathrooms.

Sorry, but orange plastic and grey floors with tough sinks? Personally I think it looks utilitarian—I showed my husband and he thought it was the kids high school bathroom. Great to have so many toilets, but we don’t generally call that, “gorgeous”. I do think the bathrooms at the Yacht Club are lovely…espcially the monogrammed towels to dry your hands.

Funny, my work restroom is orange as well, but that’s because it was updated last in the 1970’s. Glad to say it is back in style, I guess.
