Y’all…it’s stressful trying to watch a new show on streaming these days. You’ll find something you really like, and it’s usually during its first season, and then BAM, it gets canceled and you’re left wondering what happens next.
So many shows have recently gotten the axe after just one season, like The Acolyte and Renegade Nell on Disney+ . But it’s not just Disney that’s doing all the show canceling: we’re seeing it across streaming sites, including Apple TV, Netflix, and more. Well, now, according to Deadline, Peacock has canceled Teacup after one season, while Variety also reports that the Frasier revival series on Paramount+ has been canceled after just two seasons.
Teacup is an original science fiction/horror show on Peacock based on the Robert McCammon novel Stinger. The series follows a group of people living on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat. The show starred Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski and was written and executive produced by Ian McCulloch and directed and executive produced by E.L. Katz. The show has been canceled after just one season.
However, there’s another show that’s been canceled, too. The Frasier revival series on Paramount+ has been canceled after two seasons. The series starred and was executive produced by Kelsey Grammer, and was a revival of the original Frasier series, which was a spin-off of Cheers. The first season was nominated for three Primetime Emmy awards.
The series was produced by CBS Studios, which has plans to shop the series around to other platforms. So it may not be completely axed just yet, but we’ll just have to wait and see. The first two seasons are still available on Paramount+.
We’ll keep an eye out for more news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Never heard of Teacup, probably why they cancelled it. Sorry to see Frasier go.
I love Frazier, It really upsets me it got cancelled. I have been anxiously awaiting the next season. That’s why I canceled the last time everything I watch they cancel, so Paramount plus bye-bye.
Hate to see Frasier get cancelled. We really enjoyed it.
