UPDATE: On Friday morning, the Cheshire Cat Tail was NOT available at The Lunching Pad. We were directed to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe to pick up our pastry. We were told it may only be available at one location or another at a time.
It’s no secret that the Cheshire Cat Tail is one of our favorite Magic Kingdom snacks!
When the parks first reopened, we went on quite the quest to find our beloved pastry snack! Cheshire Cafe, the snack stand where you can usually order this beauty, still hasn’t reopened — so the pastry made its way over to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. For a while, Cosmic Ray’s was the only place you could order the cat tail…until now!
Yesterday we reported that Magic Kingdom’s The Lunching Pad was now open daily! When checking out their online menu, we noticed a change in the breakfast section! Listed as Cheshire Café Cat Tail, it appears that our beloved has made its way to another location in Magic Kingdom.
It’s only listed on the breakfast menu, so it seems as though it’ll only be available for part of the day. We reached out to a Cast Member via the Disney World website to find out more, and she shared that we’d likely only have the window of 10:00AM – 11:30AM to snag this treat!
We’ll definitely be investigating this further, as we believe that everyone should get the chance to try the Cheshire Cat Tail! If you’ve never had one, it’s a flakey pastry filled with chocolate and topped with LOADS of drizzled icing. It’s delicious and one of our must-try Disney World snacks, there’s simply no other way to put it!
If this sounds appetizing, you should be able to grab it for breakfast at The Lunching Pad for $5.49! Don’t forget that it’s also still available at Cosmic Ray’s throughout the day, so don’t fret if you miss the breakfast window at The Lunching Pad!
