3 UNDERRATED New Additions to Magic Kingdom — Don't Miss These!

Magic Kingdom is full of exciting, entertaining, and magical experiences for guests of all ages.

Some of these attractions are clearly popular, boasting high wait times at nearly all hours of the day, but there are a fewer newer additions to the park that we feel are MAJORLY underrated. Next time you’re in the park, don’t forget to check these out!

Aside from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening up last summer, the beloved Country Bears in Frontierland put together an ALL-NEW ACT that opened back in the summer of 2024, too!

The Country Bears

Country Bears Musical Jamboree (the previous show was called Country Bear Jamboree) is a fresh take on the classic Disney animatronic show — featuring a mix of Country Bear original tunes AND Disney songs in NEW styles like country, rockabilly, and bluegrass. Audiences have been LOVING this show, and we’ve especially seen kiddos get into it more, as these are songs that they actually recognize and can sing along to!

Country Bear Musical Jamboree

Anyone out there ever dream of smelling an elephant? Because if you have, then A.) Why? And B.) You can make that dream a REALITY over in Storybook Circus!

Smellephants on Parade!

Smellephants on Parade opened in Spring 2024 and is a complimentary, family-friendly “search and sniff” adventure where guests will become Timothy Q. Mouse’s ‘Whiff-sistants’ to help out Dumbo’s newest act! Just stop by the ticket booth near Big Top Souvenirs to get a free guide map to get started. It’s completely free, and can be a lot of fun if you’re looking for something to do while you wait for a dining reservation or for your next Lightning Lane.

Smellephants on Parade

For all of you Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members (or friends of DVC members!), McKim’s Mile House is a brand new addition in Frontierland just for you!

McKim’s Mile House is the new DVC lounge in Magic Kingdom

Located in the section where Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade used to be, this new DVC lounge has plenty of seating, AC, Coke Freestyle machines, charging ports, and TONS of space for you to spread out when you need a little respite during your Magic Kingdom day. This lounge is free for all DVC members with Member Magic access to use! The best part though? They invite up to 4 guests to join them, as well!
