REVIEW: 3 Small Changes Just Made This EPCOT Snack Even Better

This park is known for its rotating festivals and the fun of drinking around the world! Now the park has changed one of their staple snacks, and it’s almost too cute to believe.

If you’re headed to EPCOT, you probably have a list of snacks you want to try! We love a treat that is unique, worth the cash, and pretty to look at. Now, one of EPCOT’s staple treats has gotten an adorable upgrade over at Connections Eatery!

If you’re looking for a large quick service in EPCOT, Connections is the place to go! It’s in World Celebration towards the front of the park, and you can find lots of familiar favorites. It offers American-inspired eats like burgers, salads, and more.

We headed over to Connections to grab the Chocolate Baumkuchen for $6.49! It’s made with a chocolate ganache and whipped cream. This isn’t a new item in EPCOT, but it has changed!

The changes include the addition of the ganache, whipped cream, and an adorable chocolate Mickey decoration on top! Previously, the Baumkuchen was located at Connections Cafe, which is the Starbucks in EPCOT.

Our first thought on the changes is that this is seriously cute! We loved the changes; however, taste-wise, it’s pretty similar to its predecessor. The whipped cream and ganache made up for any dryness you might have had in the previous version. The Mickey motif is so cute, but he does melt pretty quickly in the heat, so be prepared.

It is TOO CUTE!

It was a cute, simple upgrade to this EPCOT snack. It’s currently available on the mobile order and does qualify as a snack credit if you’re using the Disney Dining Plan. If you really want to try this, be aware that a Cast Member did confirm it has sold out before so grab yours early if you’re desperate to try it.
