It’s Halloween season, and that means the fast food restaurants are getting in on the spooky season fun!
Of course, when we think of Halloween at fast food restaurants, there’s one big item that comes to mind — the Boo Buckets at McDonald’s! These iconic Happy Meals make us long for the days of our childhood, and if you mark Boo Bucket season on your calendar every year, you’ll be happy to know that they’re returning in 2025.
McDonald’s announced that Boo Buckets will return starting on October 21st, 2025. You’ll want to hurry up and head to your local restaurant to snag one before they sell out!
This year, the familiar faces of Ghost, Pumpkin, and Goblin are returning (with new designs), but there are also two new friends joining the pack — Cat and Zombie. Each bucket has its own fun expressions, so you can keep going back to collect them all. Each bucket comes with Halloween stickers so you can decorate it however you’d like.
These buckets come as Happy Meals, so you can typically get your choice of burger or chicken nuggets, a side, and a beverage. The Boo Buckets are a great accessory to take out trick-or-treating with your kiddos.
We can’t wait to check out this year’s buckets in person! We’ll keep you in the loop with more McDonald’s updates.
Stay tuned to DFB for more food news.
