We never thought we would see a SpongeBob Squarepants and One Piece collab, but here we are! Fans of the popular Nickelodeon show and fans of the iconic anime will be running to McDonald’s to collect new Happy Meal toys very soon.

How could you not be, when McDonald’s is dropping an adorable collection like the new one they just teased?! Get ready for many, MANY McDonald’s visits in August. A new Hello Kitty Godzilla Happy Meal is on the way, and it’s got to be one of the best Happy Meal themes we’ve ever seen!
Hi, my name is Robin, and I’m ARMY, and for those who don’t know, that means that I’m a fan of the international K-pop band BTS. I also love McDonald’s, mostly because it’s one of the few restaurants I can get DoorDashed in my small town (although those fries always hit a certain way).

Well, McDonald’s knows that there are a LOT of us ARMY out there, which is why a NEW BTS-themed Happy Meal is coming soon, and this one is dedicated to BT21.
Happy Meals from McDonald’s are something we keep a pretty close eye on, for a number of different reasons.

For one, there’s a McDonald’s on Disney World property, so when you’re on a trip and you want a taste of home or something that’s outside of the actual theme parks, it’s a common spot to end up. On the other hand, we’re genuinely just suckers for the Happy Meal toys that come out, because we ARE collectors and we’re not afraid to admit it! While the new Happy Meal toys aren’t Disney themed, they ARE Squishmallows, and you can bet that we’ll be collecting each and every one.
What is it about McDonald’s that is just comforting? Of course, there’s a lot of nostalgia for many of us going to McDonald’s, especially when it comes to Happy Meals, which pretty much defined so much of our childhoods.

Happy Meals are also still a thing, and new themes are released all the time. Recently we’ve seen Stranger Things ’85 Happy Meals, Super Mario Galaxy movie Happy Meals, and K-Pop Demon Hunters-themed Happy Meals. Well, get ready, because an all-NEW Happy Meal is coming soon, and it’s going to be VERY popular because Squishmallows are back!

Even if you haven’t, you’re thinking about it now, though, right? It’s not like it hasn’t happened before, after all. We know how much some of our DFB readers love Crocs, by the way, and we ALL love McDonald’s Happy Meals, right? Well, the Crocs-themed Happy Meals were not just a one-time thing. McDonald’s is set to release a new Happy Meal that will feature a Crocs freebie again soon. It’s really happening, y’all.
It’s Halloween season, and that means the fast food restaurants are getting in on the spooky season fun!

Of course, when we think of Halloween at fast food restaurants, there’s one big item that comes to mind — the Boo Buckets at McDonald’s! These iconic Happy Meals make us long for the days of our childhood, and if you mark Boo Bucket season on your calendar every year, you’ll be happy to know that they’re returning in 2025.
Okay, admit it, you’re thinking about dinner, and that means you might be thinking about McDonald’s. Okay, we are TOTALLY thinking about McDonald’s, and yeah, we probably visit the fast food chain more than we care to admit.

But how can we resist when McDonald’s keeps dropping some amazing Happy Meal toys? We’ve seen a lot of Disney representation in Happy Meals and Happy Meal toys, but we also think the Hello Kitty meets the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys are ADORABLE. Well, for those of us who love TinyTAN figures and K-pop (and how can you NOT love those sweet tunes?), you’ll want to head to McDonald’s soon for the NEW Happy Meal.
Disney Adults also seem to be big McDonald’s fans. Of course, a lot of us were raised on Happy Meals and probably have quite a collection of Happy Meal toys. Yes, we even tried to collect all the Disney 100th Anniversary Happy Meal toys when they were released.
