It is an exciting time to be a Disney World fan. SO much new stuff is coming to the resorts. We’re getting entire new lands (with new rides), expansions, ride updates, and so much more.
However, the parks aren’t the only spaces in Disney World getting new things. Over in Disney Springs, we’re anxiously awaiting the grand opening of LEVEL99. While we wait, though, a brand new STORE has opened in Disney Springs, so come with us as we take a first look!
You’ll find the brand new store inside Marketplace Co-Op in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. It’s called The Disney Drop Shop and it’s where you’ll find loads of blind box collectibles by brands like Cosbi, Beast Kingdom, and Popsmart (the brand behind Labubu toys).
You’ll basically see the collections in glass cases. You can purchase a mystery box that includes one of the figures (or more, if you want to try and get all the items in the collection). However, you can also purchase a whole case, which guarantees you’ll get every item in the collection. We spotted a lot of really cool collections, like this Winnie the Pooh balloon collection by Cosbi.
Remember that fun Ewok collection Disney teased when it announced the shop? Well, we found them in the shop! It’s a Plush Keychain collection by Cosbi.
In fact, you’ll find plenty to satisfy Star Wars fans here!
We also found a Stitch Little Emotions mystery box collection.
Pricing for individual figures ranges anywhere from $7.99 to $20.99, although if you’re buying a whole case, you’ll spend quite a bit more. You’re only allowed to purchase two single boxes per style, per person or one full case per person.
Disney had previously mentioned that the store would be using a virtual wait list to get in, but when we visited, it wasn’t in use. It probably depends on just how busy the shop is on any given day. At the time, we did see a sign about the virtual wait list that was turned around.
Stay tuned to DFB for more.
