Ho, Ho, Ho and Merry Christmas to you! We’re days away from Thanksgiving, but we think it’s not too soon to talk about Christmas in Disneyland.

Snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle
The holidays already kicked off at the original Disney theme park thanks to the Festival of the Holidays and limited-time snacks and entertainment. Now, we finally have the confirmed dates for one of Disneyland’s most popular holiday events, the Candlelight Processional!
Disneyland’s Candlelight Processional will take place on December 6th and 7th! The popular holiday event will take place twice on each night at 5:30PM and 7:45PM each evening. This show features a 600-member choir and a celebrity narrator as they do a musical retelling of The First Christmas Story.

Last year, Kathryn Han was the celebrity narrator who is known for Marvel’s hit WandaVision and Agatha All Along shows, among her other amazing works. Unlike Disney World’s version of the events, Disneyland doesn’t release the name of the narrator until the show begins, but in previous years, narrators have included Brie Larson, Viola Davis, John Stamos, Dick Van Dyke, Sterling K. Brown, Kurt Russell, and Lin-Manuel Miranda!

This event is insanely popular, so if you want to stop by, you need to grab your park reservations ASAP! There is a reserved seating area in front of the train station, but it’s saved for invited guests, including VIPs and executives, community members, Club 33 members, and more. If you want to watch the event, you need to stake out a spot in front of the Main Street Railroad Station pretty early to get a good view! People literally stake out their spots hours before the event, sometimes even when the park first opens in the morning.

Throughout the show, you can hear songs like “Deck the Halls,” “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World,” and more. This event is one of the most magical holiday events, and we can’t wait to see who the celebrity narrator is this year! For more holiday fun, you can enjoy the 60-foot-tall tree on Main Street, the holiday fireworks “Believe…In Holiday Magic,” and the “A Christmas Fantasy” parade. These are just a few ways the park really gets into the festivities!
