FIRST LOOK at the New Bluey Ride Opening in 2026

If you love Bluey, you’ve probably been obsessively following the news about the new Bluey ride coming to the U.K.

Alton Towers Resort is opening the world’s very first Bluey ride (SO EXCITING) in CBeebies Land. In case you were wondering, CBeebies is the network that airs Bluey in the U.K., so it makes sense that CBeebies Land is getting a Bluey ride. Y’all…we’ve got a HUGE update about that ride, too. We’ve got a first look at the attraction’s ride vehicles!

Okay, are you ready? Here’s your first look at the new Bluey ride vehicles. And it looks like the Grannies are going to be the ones driving the vehicles. How cute, right? In fact, the name of the ride is Bluey The Ride: Here Come The Grannies. The ride will be a junior coaster made for young children. It features Bluey and Bingo dressed up as the Grannies, as they go out to get involved in some grannies-themed mischief in Bluey’s backyard, “whisking you over gentle dips, around turns, and through colourful trees, flowers, and playful surprises.”

You’ll also be able to have some fun in the ride’s interactive queue, where you can spot Bluey’s House and interact with some fun activities before the ride. How fun, right? The new ride is expected to open in spring 2026.

Along with the new ride, visitors to Alton Towers can also experience Heeler meet-and-greets and see a live Bluey experience. There’s also a chance for the “ultimate Bluey sleepover” at the CBeebies Land Hotel with Bluey-themed rooms and suites. Um…I think it’s time to book a trip to the U.K.!
