It’s certainly no secret that we go to Disney World every day, but if you’re heading there for the first time — or the first time in a while — you might be wondering what exactly you need to bring along with you, and what you can leave at home.
And, while some of these items may not seem totally necessary, they can certainly be nice to have in a pinch. From water bottles to portable chargers and fans, we’ve tested a TON of Disney essentials out in the parks — and these are the ones you won’t want to visit in 2026 without.
Get the Frogg Toggs poncho
If you’re heading to Disney World during the rainy season, make sure you pack a poncho like this Frogg Toggs one! It’s extremely lightweight, the material is breathable and soft on the inside, and we love that it packs up into a convenient pouch that easily fits into most park bags. You’ll end up saving money in the long run, too, since ponchos sold at Disney World are on the pricey side!
This FuelRod Kit is a game-changer
FuelRod comes fully charged and ready to use with adapters and cables for most smart devices, and the ability to SWAP instantly for a fully charged Rod at any FuelRod Kiosk at Disney World. FuelRod is also rechargeable with any USB adapter and fits easily in your pocket, making it the perfect Disney park companion.
We love the Disney Princess Owala FreeSip water bottles
The Owala FreeSip features a great design that comes in lots of different colors. It’s also got a soft close spout to it that locks with another layer to keep it spill-proof while you’re carrying it around, and especially in your bag. It doesn’t sweat on the outside and keeps your drink cold, along with your ice, for several hours, even on some of the hottest days.
You can grab this Mickey stroller fan, too
This stroller fan is SO cute and easy to operate and charge. We love the fact that there are different fan speeds, and it is so easy to take the fan on and off the stroller when needed.
Don’t forget this portable white noise machine
This thing is so small it can fit in the palm of your hand. It has the potential to be hooked up to a charger or be enjoyed on a battery. It’s got 35 different volume levels for such a tiny object, comes in a variety of different colors to match practically any aesthetic, and 16 different sounds ranging from different kinds of fans and fan speeds, to standard white noise, soundscapes, waterfalls, rain, birds, lullabies, and beyond. It’s also equipped with a timer button that can be set to either 30, 60, or 90 minutes for intervals, or set not to cut off until you turn it off when you wake.
This handheld portable fan is one of our favorites
Featuring a Fan, Flashlight, and Backup Power Bank, the JISULIFE pocket bear fan is your summer go-to essential for staying cool on hot days while offering versatile functionality to meet your needs for any Disney World day.
And finally, this flat plug power strip saves SO much space
Outlets can be hard to find in Disney World hotel rooms, and this flat plug power strip solves that problem. The power strip easily fits into any suitcase and features three standard outlets, two USB-A outlets, and two USB-C outlets to charge a variety of devices whenever you need.
