There are officially fewer shopping options at Disney Springs now, as another store has closed.
Francesca’s clothing store closed its doors on March 29th, after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early 2026 and proceeded to shut down all store locations. While Disney hasn’t revealed what might be replacing Francesca’s just yet, we’re hopeful something will be announced soon.
Francesca’s is officially closed at Disney Springs as of March 29th, 2026. We stopped by the store after its closure to see if much had changed — or if there were any hints as to what might be coming next. While we didn’t find any signs as to what will be taking Francesca’s place, it was clear that the store is no longer open.
When we stopped by, we noticed that the store was already being gutted with workers removing fixtures and furniture!
The spot was first announced to be opening in Disney Springs as part of the expansion back in February 2016, then officially opened in May of that year, which means it’s been in the shopping and dining district for just about 10 years. This was a women’s boutique store, where you’d find lots of clothes, as well as accessories like candles, hats, socks, mugs, and more.
We personally loved checking out the clearance sections, and while we’ll miss the store, we’re glad there are so many other great shopping options to check out in Disney Springs. Some of our favorites are:
- World of Disney
- Basin
- Disney Ever After
- Fabletics
- Little Words Project
- Once Upon A Toy
- Tren-D
- UNIQLO
We’ll be on the lookout for more store closures and openings around Disney Springs. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and beyond.
