Florida rainstorms can hit hard, and even though we know to expect them during the hotter months, they can still throw us completely off our game. Sometimes forgetting your rain jacket gives you a chance to run through the puddles, though.
Even when celebrities visit Disney World, it doesn’t mean the rainstorms are going to stop for them! We just saw one of our favorite celebrities come to Disney World, and Florida gave her family plenty of time to play in the puddles.
Bindi Irwin was visiting Florida with her family and, of course, had to visit Disney World! They got caught in the rain in the EPCOT parking lot (which, speaking from experience, is one of the worst places to get caught in).
They also met Cinderella in 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian! This character dining features Cinderella, Aladdin, Mirabel, and Princess Tiana.
A little more rain fun!
We love seeing celebrities visit Disney World because it shows they can live a normal life just like us. They ride their favorite attractions, try the best snacks, and get caught in the rain. The best thing to do is smile and keep moving on — you’re in Disney after all, and you can’t have a bad day in Disney.
If you’re heading to Disney World soon, you’ll probably want to be prepared for the rain. We like to bring rain jackets or umbrellas, and if you’re bringing an umbrella, don’t forget to pull it out of your bag before going through security.
We also like to have backup plans for our favorite outdoor rides. Planning on riding Dumbo 100 times, but it starts to rain? Have a backup attraction that the whole family can enjoy.
You can also make dining reservations for longer, indoor restaurants when you see rain on the horizon. It’s nice to have a guaranteed spot where you can wait out the rain and enjoy some good food while you’re at it.
