ALERT! This HUGE Disney World Event Ends In One Month

Disney World is transitioning into its “end of summer” look, as the Halloween decorations are up at Magic Kingdom, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has begun.

The last thing left to go is Disney World’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, which officially began on May 26th. The summer celebration has a month left at Disney World, and you’ve got to take advantage of it as much as you can before it’s gone!

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER officially has one month left at Disney World, as the party ends on September 8th. That means we’ll have to say goodbye to the characters and fun activities throughout Disney World that came for kids of all ages (including kids at heart, like us).

Cool Kids’ Summer is happening now at Disney World!

If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to meet your favorite Toy Story characters at Jessie’s Roundup in Magic Kingdom. This is a new experience where Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and more Toy Story pals take over The Diamond Horseshoe for songs, dancing, games, and other playful activities.

Once Jessie’s Roundup ends on September 8th, the Diamond Horseshoe will transform into a new version of the restaurant! This new spot is described by Disney as “the perfect place to relax your weary legs and enjoy the atmosphere with some provisions and libations while you sit a spell.” We’re thinking it could become a lounge compared to the former table-service restaurant. The Diamond Horseshoe will still accept reservations and welcome walk-ins after this change. For now, enjoy the Toy Story experience while you still can!

It’s Bullseye!

We’ll also be saying goodbye to GoofyCore at EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall. The fun dance party with Goofy was back again for another year, and you still have one month to enjoy it. It’s a great spot for kids to let out energy and parents to sit back and relax in some AC.

Staying at a Disney World hotel is also about to feel a little different in a month, as a ton of character appearances happen during the summer. You can still enjoy visits from some of your favorite Disney friends at the following hotels for the rest of the summer:

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Another perk that is going away is the free water park access for any guests staying at a Disney World hotel. The perk ends with Cool KIDS’ SUMMER on September 8th. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you’ll get access to one of Disney World’s water parks for FREE on the day of your check-in — so take advantage of this amazing perk while there’s still time!
