The Half & Half appetizer is half guacamole verde, half toasted pumpkin seed “hummus”, jícama, and cucumber, served with tortilla chips. We’ve tried this before, and the pumpkin hummus was extremely creamy with lots of flavor and spice. While we thought the guacamole was good, it wasn’t super special.

The pumpkin seeds, jalapenos, and onion on top add the perfect amount of flavor. The red salsa on the side had a great smokey flavor with a bit of spice while the green salsa was a bit spicer than the other options. Overall, we really loved the pumpkin hummus the most and if you like creamy, pumpkin flavors, you’ll love this! If you aren’t a huge fan of spice, steer clear.

DVC members get notified of all perks and specials. The rest of us don’t really matter to Disney and we can’t enjoy so personally, I’d rather not hear about fun for which I am shunned. I also hate any limited edition foods and fun which Disney seems to be doing a lot more of. I wish they would settle on items we can enjoy time and again at least for a year. So what if something is delicious if you can never get it again! They’ve made it clear they really don’t want locals so unless you’re a DVC member who happens to be free those two Friday nights, you’re out of luck. Thanks for the heads up but I really don’t want to hear about what I’ll miss out on ☺!
