Disney has dropped some NEW details on the highly-anticipated new Coco attraction coming to the Disneyland Resort.
First announced at the 2024 D23 Ultimate Fan Event, the attraction – – based on the 2017 Disney/Pixar hit – – is coming to California Adventure, and is going to “be filled with the characters – – and music! – – you know and love from the beloved movie, as you join Miguel on a trip to the land of the dead” according to Disney.
At the time of the announcement, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro said that the attraction is going to take inspiration from classics like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
He went on to add that, “We’re bringing our skeletal cast of characters to life in a big way through the latest Audio-Animatronics technology. These figures will appear in ways you’ll have to see to believe.”
Now, Disney has revealed some NEW details on the Coco ride. It’s a statue of Hector that will be seen in the upcoming attraction!
