Disney has dropped some NEW details on the highly-anticipated new Coco attraction coming to the Disneyland Resort.

First announced at the 2024 D23 Ultimate Fan Event, the attraction – – based on the 2017 Disney/Pixar hit – – is coming to California Adventure, and is going to “be filled with the characters – – and music! – – you know and love from the beloved movie, as you join Miguel on a trip to the land of the dead” according to Disney.
While many fans of themed entertainment often automatically think of the industry’s major players like Disney and Universal, the truth is that there are many, MANY themed experiences from companies large and small across the U.S.

And the truth is, from regional park chains to one-off family-owned amusement parks and even standalone attractions and rides, not all of these offerings are created equal. Case in point — there’s a ride our team members STILL can’t believe we paid for.
It’s not uncommon to have ride closures in Disney World, but sometimes, we see rides close for rather uncommon reasons.

We’ve seen shutdowns in the past due to wildlife invasions or flooding ride vehicles, but this week, it seems that “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom had to close due to a fire.
