Located inside EPCOT’s beautiful Mexico Pyramid, San Angel Inn offers an authentic Mexican riverside dining experience in the midst of a vibrant village!
While the food here has been inconsistent, it seems to be getting better and better in recent years. I recommend the experience for atmosphere alone, but most likely you’ll enjoy your meal as well! (I will warn you, though, those margaritas are strong!)
Guests dining here can enjoy seeing passengers sail by on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, the pavilion’s attraction.

Nosh or Not
Dine at this Mexican restaurant if…
You want to dine somewhere with excellent atmosphere. The restaurant really feels like you’ve been transported to a Mexican zócalo or town square that’s perpetually stuck in nighttime. Oh, and did we mention diners get to see Gran Fiesta Tour boats sail by?!
You’re after some traditional Mexican eats that are familiar and comforting. We recommend the experience for atmosphere alone, but most likely you’ll enjoy your meal as well!
You’re looking for sit-down Mexican food during lunch. Unlike La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion, this spot is open for lunch and dinner.
Skip this restaurant in the pyramid if…
You’re not a fan of Mexican food. The menu is extensive, but it’s almost entirely Mexican fare. If you’re looking for something different or with more variety, consider dining elsewhere.
You want to eat somewhere with a bit more entertainment. While it’s fun to watch the Gran Fiesta boats go by, there aren’t any characters or entertainment here like you’ll find at Garden Grill or Biergarten.
You want a quiet environment while you eat your meal. Since San Angel is inside the Mexico pyramid, it can get pretty loud.
