Space 220 takes guests on a dining adventure 220 miles above EPCOT! Space 220 offers two distinct experiences: full service dining and a lounge area. This page focuses on the Space 220 Lounge.
Space 220 Lounge
Guests board the “Stellavator” (elevator) that simulates real-time rocketing into orbit as they travel to the Centauri Space Station hovering above the Earth. Diners will take in daytime and nighttime views of Earth as they’re surrounded by a full panoramic view of space. Take a look INSIDE Space 200 HERE!
The lounge accepts Advance Dining Reservations for table seating, though guests who wish to sit at the bar may wait in a standby line.
The lounge serves lunch and dinner with an à la carte menu and fun space-themed sips.
The Atmosphere at Space 220 Lounge
When you arrive at the restaurant (which is located right next to Mission: SPACE in EPCOT), you’ll check in to the Space 220 Departure Lounge.

When it’s time to eat at Space 220, you’ll board the “Space Elevator.”

This elevator will “transport” you what seems like 220 miles above the Earth (hence the name Space 220!) to the Centauri Space Station.

Explore Space 220 Lounge if…
You want to grab a drink and a bite to eat with a really cool atmosphere. You’ll have to board the “Stellavator” as you orbit into space, and you’ll be surrounded by panoramic views of space.
You want to experience Space 220 but don’t want to pay for the prix fixe meal. Dining at the Space 220 Lounge means you can order some menu items à la carte.
You’re looking for a bar with dedicated seating and snacks. Not all Disney World bars feature food, so this is a good spot to visit if you’re hungry and craving a cocktail.
Skip this lounge if…
You just want to grab a quick drink or snack. Since you’ll have to board the “Stellavator” to get here, this isn’t exactly a “get in, get out” situation. Additionally, this lounge offers Advanced Dining Reservations if you want to book a table. You can also opt to wait in line for a seat at the bar, but it can get busy.
You’re not in the mood for a full experience. While you can get a seat at the bar here, this is more of a full-service spot rather than a watering hole where you can walk up and grab a drink.
You’re not planning on getting food. We do enjoy the cocktails here, but we’re not sure we would bother trying to get a seat unless we were planning on dining here, too.
