Nosh or Not
Journey to this German restaurant if…
You want a lively meal with plenty of music and entertainment. With live musicians playing traditional German music and more, it’s the closest thing to a real German festhaus you’ll find in Orlando (probably).
You’re looking for LOTS of food served buffet-style. There is PLENTY of food to be had at Biergarten, including traditional German fare like bratwurst and spaetzle, and more familiar eats like chicken tenders for the kiddos.
You want a break from walking around that’s not boring. Your time is valuable at Disney World, and if you’re looking for a “break” that doesn’t seem boring, Biergarten is definitely a top contender. You can sit in the A/C, get some delicious eats, and be entertained by the music and more. It’s a great way to take a break while still experiencing the magic of Disney World!
Skip this restaurant in Germany if…
You’re looking for a quiet place to eat. Since Biergarten is so loud and lively, it might not be best for families with kiddos (or adults!) who are sensitive to noise and want a more low-key, chill vibe during a meal.
You’re not very hungry and are looking for something on the lighter side to eat. While this is a buffet and you can choose how much you want on your plate, it likely won’t be the best value since you’re paying the same price no matter how much you eat. Consider eating at a quick-service spot like Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion instead!
You’re looking for a character meal. There is plenty of entertainment at Biergarten, but you won’t find any characters here. Consider booking a meal at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion instead.
