For select dates in 2025, people who book at least a 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney World package with Park Hopper tickets and a Disney Resort stay can get a FREE Disney Dining Plan with their package. This deal could be a big help for many people, but for others, it’s simply not worth it. Here are the 6 times that Disney’s free Dining Plan is a bad deal.

The Disney Dining Plan is a way to pre-pay for your meals during your vacation, allotting each traveler a certain number of meal credits and snack credits per day of their trip. Buying a Disney Dining Plan is basically a way to pre-pay for all of your food for your Disney World vacation. You pay for the plan upfront and then get a certain number of credits to use at Disney World restaurants and snack stands. Walt Disney World is basically its own city complete with 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, 1 massive outdoor shopping district, and over 25 resorts. (Oh and did we mention they actually have their own city government, including emergency systems? But that’s another story altogether.)
