Atmosphere
From the 1950s through the 1990s, various areas of the Resort represent the different decades. They’re characterized by larger-than-life icons from the time periods!
For instance, Rubik’s cubes were pretty big in the ’80s and they’re even BIGGER here!
It’s well worth exploring the entire Resort to spot them all! Thanks to the GIGANTIC SIZE of everything…
…it’s not terribly difficult. 😉
Let’s Be-Bop our way through everything Pop Century has to offer!
P.S. You can see MORE of the signature icons at Pop Century Resort here!
Dining and Shopping
Connected to the lobby and main check-in area is Everything POP Shopping and Dining.
This location is the main dining and retail location for the Resort with plenty of merchandise, including unique-to-Pop Century items.
It also boasts a full food court open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
The menu offers classics such as pizza, pasta, burgers, and more. You may even find a late-night snack, like Everything Pop’s signature snack: Tie-Dye Cheesecake!
Guests can also grab a drink outside at Petals Pool Bar located by the Hippy Dippy Pool.
It’s FAR OUT!

Guest Rooms
Guests may reserve a Standard Room, a Standard Pool View Room, a Preferred Room, or a Preferred Pool View Room for their Pop Century stay.
The Standard Rooms at Pop Century come with either a king bed or a queen bed and a queen-size table bed (pictured below).
When folded, the second queen bed has a table with seats for two.
You can pull it down at night to fit your room for four people.
The room is also home to a TV and a dresser with drawers and cabinet storage.
In the corner, you’ll find shelving with a coffee maker and a mini-fridge.
Bathrooms feature a large mirror on the wall above the sink, as well as a smaller magnification mirror, and quite a bit of storage and shelving.
There’s a sliding door separating the toilet and shower from the sink area, which is convenient for multiple people getting ready at once. The shower pictured below has a tub and a sliding door, as well as a movable shower head.
Inside the shower is a selection of Disney’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. These are refillable, reusable bottles.

Amenities and Activities
Make time to take a DIP in the main Pop Century pool: the Hippy Dippy Pool!
The other pools include the Bowling Pool in the ’50s section and the Computer Pool in the ’90s area. (Keep your eyes peeled for FLOPPY DISCS! Then get ready to explain to the kiddos what floppy discs are. 😉 )
A Jogging Trail around Hourglass Lake, the Fast Forward Arcade, and a playground (in the 70s section) offer more Resort amenities.
And the Front Desk will provide you with information about current Resort Activities which may include options like Movies Under the Stars, Pool Parties, and additional activities for a nominal fee such as Mickey Tie-Dye!
You will also see signs alerting to the day’s and week’s activities.
Additional amenities for Resort guests also include complimentary Wi-Fi, currency exchange, self-service laundry rooms, mail services, and online check-in.
Additional Benefits
MORE Theme Park Hours
Guest staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort have access to ADDITIONAL hours in the Disney World theme parks! Early Theme Park Entry allows guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on their day in the parks.
This benefit is available for ANY theme park every day. Please note that guests need a valid theme park ticket AND a Park Pass reservation for the park they’re planning to visit in order to gain early access.
Disney Genie and Lightning Lanes
Disney Genie is a new service available through the My Disney Experience app which offers both free and optional paid-for features which will help guests maximize their time in the parks. The two optional paid-for features — Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane Attraction Selection — launched in tandem with the FREE standard Disney Genie.
For guests wishing to ride Disney’s most popular attractions — such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance — without a wait, Individual Attraction Selection allows guests to select return times to bypass the standby line and instead enter the Lightning Lane for a maximum of two specific, more popular attractions. Individual Attraction Selection is a pay-per-ride option.
All guests have the ability to buy Individual Attraction Selections. Guests staying offsite are able to get their first one when the park opens. But those staying at Disney-owned and operated hotels are able to make their first Individual Attraction Selection at 7AM each day.

Transportation
Disney’s newest form of transportation, the Disney Skyliner, hosts a station located between Pop Century and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
This is a HUGE perk for Pop Century guests that makes getting around Disney World a whole lot easier. (And it’s really FUN, to boot!)
From Pop Century and Art of Animation, the Skyliner goes directly to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort where guests can then transfer to Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.
Additionally, guests have access to Disney Bus Transportation to and from all four theme parks and Disney Springs.
Another fun perk: guests can walk to the neighboring Art of Animation Resort to check out the atmosphere or perhaps visit Landscape of Flavors, as the two Resorts are connected by Hourglass Lake.
