Tiffins Restaurant offers Signature Dining in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.
Tiffins
With celebration of travel as the central theme, the menu and atmosphere reflect the locales that inspired the park itself. Beautiful artwork — much of which inspired the creation of the park — hangs in each of the three dining rooms, and guests are encouraged to explore and enjoy the displays, the same way you would experience an art gallery.
“Tiffin” is an Indian English word for a midday meal and is also used as a name for a container used for carrying food during travel.
The Meal at Tiffins Restaurant
Tiffins Restaurant brings signature dining to Disney World’s wildest park. Here you’ll be met with an international cuisine meant to bring out your explorer and adventurous side! This restaurant’s cuisine is a mix of African, Asian, and South American-inspired dishes.
Bread Service
The food at Tiffins is an interesting blend of flavors and ingredients from around the globe, and it’s generally enjoyed by guests who yearn for something adventurous in their dining.

There are some less-unique options for little kids, which we know can be important to younger palates.

The Atmosphere at Tiffins
Tiffins is a full sit-down signature restaurant — think adventurous, globally inspired dishes, a longer meal, and an upscale atmosphere.

When you visit Tiffins, your jaw will drop at the level of detail in this place. The walls are lined with beautiful artwork found within each of the three dining rooms. When you stop by for a visit, your server will encourage you to make your way around each of the dining rooms to explore and enjoy the displays, the same way you would experience an art gallery.

The Grand Gallery is the largest of the three, functioning as the main dining room for Tiffins. The theme here is a celebration of the animals themselves as well as folk art.

Nosh or Not
Splurge on a meal at Tiffins if…
You’re not worried about time. This is NOT a restaurant you just pop into for a quick meal. Dining here is for those who want a slower, more relaxed meal and aren’t worried about making it to their next Lightning Lane.
You want to learn more about Animal Kingdom. Although learning may not be at the front of your mind when booking restaurants, that’s just one of the many perks to dining here. The park is RICH in history and intriguing design details, and between the artwork in the restaurant and what you learn from the servers, you won’t find an experience like it anywhere else in the park.
You have a reason to splurge. It’s no secret that Disney World is expensive before you even add in the cost of food. However, if you’ve budgeted for a nicer meal or you’re celebrating something special like a birthday or anniversary, Tiffins is a fantastic place to do that!
Spend your bucks elsewhere if…
You want the BEST food in the park. Animal Kingdom is known for having amazing Quick Service restaurants and snack spots. If it’s your first visit, we’d recommend exploring those as you make your way around the park. The Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen and the Pulled Pork Cheese Fries at Flame Tree Barbecue might just change your life!
You have kids in your group. Although there are some safer kids’ meal choices at Tiffins, this is a restaurant for more adventurous diners.
You want to try the menu, but can’t commit to a reservation time. If you just want a taste of Tiffins, you can get that at Nomad Lounge! The lounge is popular, but it has several of the same menu items as the main restaurant, and it won’t take up as much time. Just join the Walk-Up Waitlist on your next visit.
