A couple weeks back, I told you all about my up close encounter with the Warm Colossal Cinnamon Roll at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery.
It’s a cinnamon roll that’s as big as my HEAD!
But during that same visit, another item piqued my interest — a fancy schmancy breakfast wrap! Because who doesn’t love a great on-the-go breakfast option in the parks? I had to get it.
The Hot Breakfast Wrap
Whether I’m looking for a quick breakfast or an afternoon snack, Kusafiri is a great stop. There’s always something new to try here! And aren’t the food visual aides the tops? Making a decision is so much easier when you can see an example of what you’re getting.
But upon checking out the menu, the Hot Breakfast Wrap immediately caught my eye. After all, for all of my talk about sweet treats to start the day, I know a protein-rich, less sugar option will keep me going for long hours of fun in the parks.
And this really sounded interesting to me — way more so than the run of the mill breakfast sandwiches you usually see. Goat Cheese? Spinach? It’s practically a health food!
This is how the wrap came to me. Look at all the earth-friendly goodness happening here!
Upon opening the brown parchment paper that enveloped the wrap, I was greeted by a flour tortilla wrapping. You can see by the pic (using the 20 oz water bottle for comparison), it wasn’t huge, but it was a good, one-person-sized portion
The fillings were ample, with a lot of fluffy Scrambled Egg (tasted real enough to me). There was also plenty of Spinach deliciousness. There’s like a serving of veggies here! The sprinkling of meat (it was supposed to be sausage, but might have been ham in here) was just plentiful enough to give a good flavor throughout.
You might be wondering about the Goat Cheese, too. It was definitely in there, but wasn’t as well distributed as the other ingredients. I definitely caught the flavor of its unmistakable tang, though.
Overall, this was exactly what I wanted it to be — warm and filling with good flavor. It’s a portable, convenient breakfast that will stick with you for the better part of the morning, leaving you free to explore without worrying about hunger pangs.
Whaddya think? Would you trade in your cinnamon roll or muffin for this beauty?

We had these in the morning when we went to AK just to fill the gap before our lunch reservation at Tusker House and it was perfect for a healthy option and kept us going for a couple hours. Will definitely have them again. Yum!

Absolutely not! I’m not giving up my sweets for ANYTHING healthy. However, a Hot Breakfast Wrap WITH a side of Warm Colossal Cinnamon Bun or White Chocolate Elephant Cupcake? Now we’re talking! They need a combo platter to be offered 🙂

That looks great and all, but the real question is: if I ask for a paw print brownie for breakfast, will they give me one?!
Jenny says
It looked yummy and if I wasn’t going to Tusker House for breakfast I’d have one. Do you think they would have salsa to go with it? I love my breakfast wraps with some salsa.
🙂

Sounds like they’re pre-made…wonder if its possible to order a vegetarian version (no ham or sausage)?

Jenn — Of course they will! ;-D

Warning for the hot breakfast wrap. It’s hot! I made the mistake of unwrapping it and biting into it, the steam burned my lip a bit. So unwrapping, and cutting it in half to let the steam escape is a smart move. It was very tasty though, and I’d definitely have it again.

There is something about wilty spinach that just gives me the heebie-geebies, so i don’t think that this would be an option for me…:(

Glad to hear they can do this one veggie friendly! it’s now on my list.

I had one of these a cople of days after the Marathon in January…probably the BEST quick service breakfast in the parks, and I LOVE my sweet treats! The spinach was not overpowering, and gave a nice contrast to the eggs. Hot sauce was available but really not needed. This is a great addition to the menu!
Aimee says
I would definitely try the breakfast wrap!! I’ll put it on my list for the next time I am at the park!

I recommend this all the time. It’s a great little sandwich.

Does this work with a snack credit by chance ?

Elizabeth, Kusafiri does not accept DDP at present.
