The new Apple Cider Donut Holes at Animal Kingdom’s Isle of Java have been on our list to try since we mentioned their arrival earlier this week!
Because the fall-snacking obsession continues to grow with all things pumpkin, caramel, and even maple bacon around Disney World, so why not dig in to this particular autumn treat?
Three fried donut holes are rolled in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with an apple cider glaze and served on a stick because… well, why not?
The texture of the donut holes is great with their slightly crispy outside and super soft center. They tasted very fresh. The apple flavor, however, isn’t too strong, despite the bits of diced apple you’ll find within each piece.
They are yummy, but — we must admit — we think they should have been pumpkin 😉 . Just sayin’…
No, in all seriousness, these are a fun fall treat with a bit of State Fair-feel. (Or maybe they’re just reminiscent of my former home’s State Fair, but I digress.) Animal Kingdom, while always chock full of great eats, is never really known for seasonal snacks, so it’s fun to see the park getting in on some of the fall festivities!
You’ll find Isle of Java on Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom where the Apple Cider Donut Holes are available for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.

My family was just there yesterday and a cast member gave two of these to my daughter for free! She was so happy! We all had a nibble. I recommend a cup of coffee to go along with them!
