We’ve just learned when guests can start making reservations to stay in the new tower coming to Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort. The Tower, named Gran Destino, will feature 545 guest rooms (including 50 suites), a rooftop restaurant, and serve as the main entrance to the resort.
It was previously announced the Tower will open in July 2019. Now, the date that you can start making reservations for the tower has been announced. [UPDATE: since this post the opening date has been revealed as July 9, 2019.]
In addition to a brand new tower, the existing 1,800 rooms at Coronado Springs have also been fully updated with new fixtures, furnishings and lighting.
Plus, a second new restaurant is planned to open on an island in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, with walkways across the water, to reach the location.
Starting November 27, 2018, you can make reservations to stay in the new tower for stays in July 2019 and forward. Make your reservation by visit the Walt Disney World website or call 407-W-Disney or your Travel Agent (we recommend Small World Vacations — see why here!).
