Hi, there! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re discussing whether Disney World After Hours events are worth the money!
Currently, three Disney World parks offer After Hours events: Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. These extra-ticket events offer limited-to-no wait times at popular attractions in the parks due to capping the event at a low guest capacity, and snacks and beverages are also included. These events, however, do come with a fairly high price tag. So today we’re discussing if Disney World After Hours might be worth it for your group in our latest DFB YouTube Video!

Hi, thanks for the review! We are considering after hours for our upcoming trip, but we’re wondering about the frozen treats. Do you happen to know if they have dairy free options available? Thanks!
We just came back from WDW and did the after hours event at Animal Kingdom. It definitely wasn’t cheap, but honestly, it was the highlight of our trip. Pandora at night is amazing!! Absolutely zero wait times for every ride (including Avatar Flight of Passage). We rode everything multiple times and had time to spare to see Rivers of Light and the drummers in Pandora. If you get tickets for After Hours, I definitely recommend getting there as early as they will allow. We got in at 7pm and were able to explore and ride a couple of rides before the park officially closed. Even though we couldn’t do the safari that night, we came back a couple of days later during our stay and did the safari early without a fast pass. Was well worth it for our family of 4.
And yes, there was a non-dairy frozen juice bar option available.
Right now Disney is offering a special on a 3 day pass for Florida residents. Can we use one of those days for an after hours event ?
Cindi, no. You need to buy a party ticket specifically.
